Composition of UV ink

a. Reactive diluent (also known as diluent monomer) is a compound with a small molecular mass, which can reduce viscosity, disperse pigment resin and dilute, and determine the surface characteristics of ink, such as viscosity, hardness, softness. It is not volatile and participates in UV resin curing cross-linking reaction.

b. Additives (also known as auxiliaries) include pigments, lubricants, thickeners, fillers, solidifying agents, etc., which affect the color, curing speed, thickness of the ink layer, printability and resistance of the ink, etc. .

c. Light cured resin, which is the main component of UV ink, that is, the connecting material of UV ink, which determines the glossy adhesion of UV ink. Different inks use different resins to adapt to different materials of substrates.

d. Initiator, which is the chemical substance that initiates the cross-linking reaction. As a photochemical reaction, the initiator - after being excited by light and absorbing photons, becomes very active. It generates free radicals, and transfers energy to other photosensitive polymers, resulting in a chain reaction, combining single molecules, additives, and Light cured resin to make ink curing reaction.
